Balance is the essential key in our individual health as well as the health of our planet. It is also the key to a long and healthy life. But it can prove to be a mystifying slippery slope when that balance has been lost.

“Not only does our survival depend upon balance, so does the quality of our life and the state of our psyche. To achieve balance, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual---- has been a goal of many global traditions of human potential work.”

As adults, we have the awesome and ongoing task of caring for ourselves while in many cases simultaneously caring for others including animals. Whether or not we have a partner or family to care for and who help us carry our own load, we are minute by minute making choices to meet our needs and as we do we are going in and out of balance. The whole idea being to come back into balance or homeostasis.

The value of maintaining good self care and balance cannot be over stated in my estimation. Balance can also referred to as choosing the middle way or middle ground psychologically.

“A measure of our awareness and wisdom is whether our lives and actions center around the middle way. Each of us needs to find our own middle way or middle ground, defined by our unique physical and psychological qualities and needs not by someone else’s values.”

I offer presentations designed to help men and women gain awareness and take the necessary steps toward developing their own connections with balance and self care. These presentations can be given virtually, with question and answer time permitted.
